It's WINTER!! When engaging in winter recreational activities, it's important to ensure that you have proper insurance coverage. • Slow Down: Reduce your speed to accommodate for snow, ice, and reduced visibility. Remember, it takes longer to stop on slippery roads.

• Increase Following Distance: Maintain a greater distance between your car and the vehicle in front of you. This allows more time to react to sudden stops.

• Use Your Lights: Turn on your headlights to increase your visibility to other drivers.

• Avoid Cruise Control: Using cruise control on slippery roads can be dangerous as it can cause your car to lose traction.

• Stay Informed: Check the weather forecast and road conditions before you travel. Plan your route accordingly and allow extra time for travel.

• Emergency Kit: Keep an emergency kit in your car that includes items such as blankets, water, food, flashlight, first-aid supplies, and a shovel.
